Altura Furniture warranties products from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two years from the factory shipping date. Conditions resulting from shipping damage, normal wear, inappropriate use, negligence, extreme humidity and temperatures, direct sunlight, water and other liquids are not covered under this warranty.

Warranty claims for defects in materials and workmanship for periods longer than two years will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

Altura stands behind our products 100% and will carefully collect the information and circumstances to a given claim to determine if it was caused by material failure or fault in workmanship. If we determine Altura is at fault, we will take appropriate action to resolve the claim.

Altura craftsmen apply multiple techniques to ensure each piece of furniture is heirloom quality. Slab table tops, for example, are large and thick. In order to limit warping or checking, the slabs are air dried, followed by a period of kiln drying. The slabs are then surfaced, and all visible defects are removed and filled with structural epoxy where needed. Our tabletop attachment system holds the tabletop flat, while allowing for expansion and contraction. We cannot, however, accept liability for checking in the wood that is a result of the movement of the wood beyond our control.
